A Roman floor mosaic depicting four dolphins swimming around a central trident, the symbol of Poseidon (Neptune). Dating to the 3rd century CE.
The mosaic was discovered in a private villa in the area of Sami and served as a stunning floor decoration that reflected the island's deep maritime identity. It was prominently displayed in Room III of the Archaeological Museum of Argostoli before the museum was closed due to earthquake damage.
Ρωμαϊκό ψηφιδωτό δάπεδο που απεικονίζει τέσσερα δελφίνια να κολυμπούν γύρω από μια κεντρική τρίαινα, το σύμβολο του Ποσειδώνα.
