This exterior architectural view captures the reflection of the ancient Parthenon and the Acropolis on the transparent glass facade of the museum's third-floor gallery. Inside these luminous upper glass enclosures, the original marble sculptures from the Parthenon are displayed under natural light. The innovative glazing and orientation align the museum's interior artifact layout directly with the sacred rock visible across the skyline.
The Acropolis Museum, designed by Bernard Tschumi in collaboration with Michael Photiadis. Featuring extensive glass facades and massive concrete pillars, the building's prominent cantilevered canopy shelters the main entrance and extends over the excavated ruins of an ancient Athenian neighborhood. The structure was specifically engineered to house the archaeological artifacts of the Acropolis while maintaining a direct visual connection to the Parthenon through its transparent upper galleries.

Αντανάκλαση του αρχαίου Παρθενώνα και της Ακρόπολης στη διαφανή γυάλινη πρόσοψη της αίθουσας του τρίτου ορόφου του μουσείου. Στο εσωτερικό αυτών των φωτεινών επάνω γυάλινων περιβλημάτων, τα αυθεντικά μαρμάρινα γλυπτά από τον Παρθενώνα εκτίθενται κάτω από φυσικό φως. Η καινοτόμος υάλωση και ο προσανατολισμός ευθυγραμμίζουν την εσωτερική διάταξη των εκθεμάτων του μουσείου απευθείας με τον ιερό βράχο που είναι ορατός σε ολόκληρο τον ορίζοντα.
