Bronze Lamp in the Form of a Warship
Bronze oil lamp in the form of a warship. Late 5th c. BCE.
Lamp in the form of a warship with an inscription stating that it was a sacred object of Athena. The wick would be placed in the prow, above the long ram.
Exhibited in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens.
