The theatre of Delphi with the temple of Apollo just below it. 4h c. BCE.
It is one of the best preserved theatres in Greece. The koilon (hollow) engulfs the stage with its 35 semi-circular rows of seats which held about 5000 spectators. It is built with white Parnasos stone. The theatre hosted plays, lectures and poetry recitals but music performances took place at the stadium. It was repaired in the 2nd c. BCE.
