Dimini: Megaron House

The "Megaron House at the Neolithic settlement of Dimini.

The large "Megaron" house dominates the crest of the low hill, at the center of the enclosed settlement. Its layout has been interpreted to be a place of Neolithic worship since it resembles the general plan of the later Greek and Roman temples. Thessaly, Greece.
