This stone funerary stele provides a rare glimpse into the workshops of ancient Ambracia. While the upper portion of the slab has been shaped into a pedimental form, the lower section remains in a rough, unworked state, revealing the initial stages of the sculptor's carving process. Such unfinished monuments are significant for archaeological study, as they demonstrate the technical methods used by Epirote craftsmen to prepare stone for inscriptions or relief work.

Αυτή η λίθινη επιτύμβια στήλη προσφέρει μια σπάνια ματιά στα εργαστήρια της αρχαίας Αμβρακίας. Ενώ το πάνω μέρος της πλάκας έχει διαμορφωθεί σε αετωματική μορφή, το κάτω τμήμα παραμένει σε ακατέργαστη κατάσταση, αποκαλύπτοντας τα αρχικά στάδια της διαδικασίας λάξευσης του γλύπτη. Τέτοια ημιτελή μνημεία είναι σημαντικά για την αρχαιολογική μελέτη, καθώς καταδεικνύουν τις τεχνικές μεθόδους που χρησιμοποιούσαν οι Ηπειρώτες τεχνίτες για την προετοιμασία του λίθου για επιγραφές ή ανάγλυφα.
