This marble group from the museum's atrium features Dionysos, the god of wine, leaning on a support and accompanied by a youthful satyr and the goat-legged god Pan [1]. In the background, a statue of Artemis as a huntress is visible, identifiable by her short chiton and the hunting dog seated faithfully at her right foot [2]. The arrangement of these figures within the peristyle highlights the Late Hellenistic preference for mythological groupings intended to decorate the private courtyards and public spaces of Kos [3].

Αυτό το μαρμάρινο σύμπλεγμα από το αίθριο του μουσείου παριστάνει τον Διόνυσο, τον θεό του οίνου, να στηρίζεται σε παραστάδα πλαισιωμένος από έναν νεαρό σάτυρο και τον τραγοπόδαρο θεό Πάνα [1]. Στο βάθος διακρίνεται ένα άγαλμα της Αρτέμιδος ως κυνηγού, αναγνωρίσιμο από τον κοντό χιτώνα και τον κυνηγετικό σκύλο που κάθεται πιστά στο δεξί της πόδι [2]. Η διάταξη αυτών των μορφών στη στοά υπογραμμίζει την προτίμηση της ύστερης ελληνιστικής περιόδου για μυθολογικά συμπλέγματα που προορίζονταν για τη διακόσμηση των ιδιωτικών αυλών και των δημόσιων χώρων της Κω [3].
