Fragment from the stele of Diogenes with blue pigment

Fragment from the stele of Diogenes son of Apollonides, from Pyrrha on Lesbos. From Eetioneia (Kastraki Drapetsonas ). Early 4th c. BCE.

The stele has much of the ancient blue pigment.
Exhibited at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus, Greece.
