Syros ship from the Copper Era (3000 - 2000 BCE) scale model.
"The outline of this ship was found on ware (probably a mirror) made of "terra-cotta" and in earthen models from the excavations at Paleokastro of Crete. Primitive technique, since at the broad plank of the basis, which replaced the keel, they stitched the lateral boards in order the vessel to gain height. The prow of the ship is topped with an ensign of fish." Maritime Museum, Chania, Greece.
