This macro detail focuses on the upper decorative program of the funerary stele belonging to KSENOI. Below the architectural cornice with its rows of dentils, the faint outlines of an olive branch are visible, leading toward the central heracleion amma (Hercules' knot). The name of the deceased is carved in bold relief within the recessed horizontal frame below these symbolic elements. The inclusion of the olive branch, often associated with victory or peace, combined with the protective Hercules' knot, suggests that the deceased held a respected status within the community of Ambracia during the Hellenistic era.

Αυτή η κοντινή λεπτομέρεια επικεντρώνεται στον άνω διακοσμητικό κύκλο της επιτύμβιας στήλης του ΞΕΝΟΙ. Κάτω από το αρχιτεκτονικό γείσο με τις σειρές οδόντων, διακρίνονται τα αμυδρά περιγράμματα ενός κλάδου ελιάς που οδηγεί προς το κεντρικό ηράκλειον άμμα (κόμπο του Ηρακλή). Το όνομα του θανόντος είναι λαξευμένο ανάγλυφα μέσα στο εσώγλυφο οριζόντιο πλαίσιο κάτω από αυτά τα συμβολικά στοιχεία. Η συμπερίληψη του κλάδου ελιάς, που συχνά συνδέεται με τη νίκη ή την ειρήνη, σε συνδυασμό με τον προστατευτικό κόμπο του Ηρακλή, υποδηλώνει ότι ο θανών κατείχε μια σεβαστή θέση στην κοινωνία της Αμβρακίας κατά την ελληνιστική εποχή.
