This detailed view of the stele shows the fine floral decoration of the pediment and the distinct carving styles used for the text. The name POSIDONIOS (ΠOΣEIΔΩNIOΣ) is carved in relief within a recessed panel, a technique that would have made the name more prominent even from a distance. Below, the information about his lineage (HERAKLEITOU / HPAKΛEITOΥ), his religious office as a priest (IEREUS / IEPEΥΣ), and the traditional farewell (CHAIRE / XAIPE). Found in the Ambracian necropolis.

Αυτή η λεπτομερής άποψη της στήλης δείχνει την κομψή φυτική διακόσμηση του επιστυλίου και τις διαφορετικές τεχνικές χάραξης που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν. Το όνομα ΠΟΣΕΙΔΩΝΙΟΣ αποδίδεται ανάγλυφα μέσα σε ένα βυθισμένο πλαίσιο, μια τεχνική που καθιστούσε το όνομα πιο ευδιάκριτο από απόσταση. Από κάτω, οι πληροφορίες για την καταγωγή του (ΗΡΑΚΛΕΙΤΟΥ), το θρησκευτικό του αξίωμα ως ιερέα (ΙΕΡΕΥΣ) και ο παραδοσιακός χαιρετισμός (ΧΑΙΡΕ) στο νεκροταφείο της Αμβρακίας.
