Dodona Acropolis

Ruins of the Dodona acropolis, located on the hill just above the ancient theater.

The hilltop, above and to the east of the theatre, was enclosed by a defensive wall in the late 4th century BCE to act as a refuse in case of an attack. Its 750 meters long perimeter had ten rectangular towers and two gates.
