This view showcases the monumental stairway leading to the Propylaea, framed by the standing Doric columns of the lower Hellenistic stoa. The expansive stone steps were designed to accommodate pilgrims ascending to the sanctuary of Athena Lindia. Modern restorations, executed between 1936 and 1938, rebuilt significant portions of this dramatic architectural ascent.

Αυτή η άποψη αναδεικνύει τη μνημειακή κλίμακα που οδηγεί στα Προπύλαια, πλαισιωμένη από τους ιστάμενους δωρικούς κίονες της κατώτερης Ελληνιστικής στοάς. Τα εκτεταμένα πέτρινα σκαλοπάτια σχεδιάστηκαν για να εξυπηρετούν τους προσκυνητές που ανέβαιναν στο ιερό της Αθηνάς Λινδίας. Σύγχρονες αναστηλώσεις, που πραγματοποιήθηκαν μεταξύ 1936 και 1938, ανοικοδόμησαν σημαντικά τμήματα αυτής της δραματικής αρχιτεκτονικής ανόδου.
