Το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Νικόπολης (the Archaeological Museum of Nikopolis) hosts Roman and Byzantine finds from the nearby ancient city of Nikopolis. It exhibits objects and art from the excavations in the expanded area around the ancient city founded by Augustus in 31 BCE.
Base with Greek Gods
Semi-circular marble base with low relief depicting gods from the Greek pantheon. The Archaeological Museum of Nikopolis opened in 2011 to host artifacts from the Roman and Byzantine ears, which were unearthed in the excavations in the vicinity of ancient Nikopolis.
